Performance Series Torque Converters (245mm)

We now incorporate all of the power handling technology that makes the HP/Street the best converter available into this amazingly priced converter. The price can’t be touched!

What makes it so strong:

The Hub-

Our hub is machined from medium carbon (AISI 1035) steel.  The hub is fully hardened and tempered (heat treated) and uses the maximum possible thickness for added strength.

The Ballooning Plates-

Using ballooning plates that measure nearly ½”, you can rest assured that this converter will hold to big power.

Brazed Fins-

Rather than relying on the much cheaper alternative of simply brazing in a furnace, we spend the time to hand braze every fin inside the converter. This ensures that you are getting a much stronger converter.

Torrington Bearings-

With our dedication to bring you the best possible product, we only use Genuine Torrington Bearings in our Performance Series. 

The Stator-

Our stators are heavily modified to bring you both superior street feel and superior strength.

-To improve throttle response and feel, we modify the accordion springs on our stator assemblies. The resulting improvement in roller reaction not only helps street feel, but throttle reaction at the track as well.

-Using a Fuddle exclusive design on the stator race, we are able to provide .200 more engagement to considerably add to the strength of the converter.

Fuddle Racing has always been dedicated to bringing you the best possible clutch. The clutch in the Performance Series is built of the strongest material available. You simply can’t beat Carbon Metallic clutch linings. They are the best and are in every Performance Series converter.

High Performance/Street Series Torque Converters (245mm)

This is simply built to be the best street torque converter available-anywhere.

Built of the same top quality carbon metallic linings found in our Performance Series, this converter takes our dedication to bringing you a superior clutch to a new level. The clutch in this converter measures an astonishing 43 sq in. That is more than twice the size of stock! This clutch is unparalleled in the street converter market. If needed, this clutch can take WOT lockup!

The Front Cover-

To house such an innovative clutch, we use a top quality billet cover. Not only does this allow for the enlarged clutch surface, it also adds rigidity to the front cover for very high horsepower applications.

HighPerformance/Race Series Torque Converters (245mm)

This converter is not designed for street use.

Identical to the HP/Street Series, except-

The piston (clutch) uses no springs to handle HUGE power even if locked at WOT.

Features 6 bolt mounting.

Features a 48 sq in clutch surface.

This is built as a race converter-

The lack of springs on the clutch provides a much harsher lock feel and can actually be violent behind cam-bucking on the road.

 

HeavyDuty/Street (10.5”)

Built for lower stall speeds, this converter will simply feel better on the street than any other converter built. This converter is also great for very high powered cars that need to keep stall down, stay strong, and outperform the competition!

 

 

Truck Converters-

While it requires considerable cooling ability, with the right combination, you can combine towing abilities with impressive track times.

This converter is designed along side the HP/Street Series Converters. Built with more than twice the clutch available in a stock converter, when locked, this converter exhibits surprising ability to pull. Considering its race-bread heritage, it can post some impressive times as well.

This larger diameter converter is built to enable big towing capacity while still providing big performance. With more clutch size than stock, and enough fluid capacity to keep things cool, this converter will change the truck converter market...at Fuddle Racing prices!
